There is nothing more precious than a television cast that becomes a family. We'd all be lying to ourselves if we said we'd never secretly longed to be a part of a really awesome TV cast. And we had some really great TV families in our time to fall in love with.
This makes it especially rad when TV casts reunite years later. It's so nice to see a bunch of people who went on to varying levels of success and are still friends in real life.

I am full of emotions about these five television cast reunions:
1. Freaks and Geeks
I was smitten with Freaks and Geeks from the moment I watched the first episode in high school. It did not reflect my high school experience in the slightest, but it represented a high school experience I LOVED to watch play out.
So many Freaks and Geeks cast members went on to be some of today's key players in Hollywood. I mean, James Franco alone practically owns 56% of the entertainment industry. Not to mention the success of nearly all of the other cast members like Seth Rogan, Jason Segal, Busy Phillips and Lizzie Caplan. Seriously, this cast was so comically on point that it was unfair to other shows. It is one of the most underrated television shows of our time and was cancelled WAY too soon. One season was not and will never be enough.

2. That 70s Show
Ok, so this show didn't end THAT long ago, but look at them! Look how much they love each other! I remember hearing a rumor once that Topher Grace didn't like the cast very much and that news broke my heart so much that I couldn't function for at least a week. But this reunion photo proves otherwise. Thank goodness.
If they can be friends from the 70s to 2013, then anyone can stay friends forever.

3. Home Improvement
I hope I'm not the only person who used to stay up really late on school nights to gawk at Jonathan Taylor Thomas on reruns of Home Improvement. I really really hope I'm not the only one.
I really don't have much else to say about this show other than the fact that Jonathan Taylor Thomas was my first crush (that I might still have a crush on) and that Richard Kahn went on to be a really great Family Feud host.

4. Boy Meets World
Ah, Boy Meets World. The show that shaped a generation. I had to include this reunion not only because it is one of the best shows ever, but also in preparation for the new series Girl Meets World about Cory and Topanga's daughter. I still have to pinch myself to make sure that is a real show that is actually happening.
Seriously though, this show portrayed some of the greatest friendships and do you want to know how they did that? By actually being best friends with each other. My heart aches with warm and fuzzies.
This TV family can be rivaled by only one other:

5. Full House
HAVE MERCY!
Full House captured a unique family dynamic better than most sitcoms of its time. It may have not always been realistic, but boy did it make you smile. And that theme song. (This video of the theme song from every season is long but worth watching if you enjoy watching children grow up and sobbing.)
Every episode ended with a resolution and a giant love fest and who doesn't love giant love fests? It tackled tough problems associated with growing up and family drama and managed to be hilarious and heartfelt.
The only problem with this reunion is that the Olsen twins were not present. (SMH, MK&A. SMH.)
But really though, the only family I love more than the Tanners is my own family.
